General Physician (Medical Doctor) – Remote Patient Care Coordinator

We are currently seeking a General Physician (Medical Doctor) to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC). This is a full-time remote position supporting a primary care practice in the United States.

The ideal candidate is a licensed physician with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and patients in a fast-paced environment.

Important: This position is exclusively for Medical Doctors (MD or equivalent medical degree). Applicants from other healthcare professions, including nursing, physical therapy, dentistry, pharmacy, or other allied health fields, will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to coordinate patient care.

Review, update, and coordinate treatment plans under the direction of the Primary Care Provider (PCP).

Conduct patient and family interviews to complete clinical assessments and gather relevant medical information.

Educate and guide patients regarding their treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow-up recommendations.

Monitor patient progress and ensure continuity of care according to established clinical protocols.

Accurately document clinical information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers in English when required.

Support chronic care management and other patient care coordination initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Medical Doctor (MD or equivalent medical degree) required.

Applicants from other healthcare professions will not be considered.

Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken).

Strong computer skills and ability to learn healthcare software quickly.

Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Location: 100% Remote

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (US Central Time), plus two Saturdays per month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Monthly Salary: COP $4,300,000

Performance Bonus: Additional performance-based incentives available.
